HIGHLIGHTS

  • Visit St. Teresa’s Church is located at the corner of Jagannath Shankarsheth Marg (JSS Marg) and Rajarammohan Roy Marg, this church reflects Mumbai’s colonial legacy. The walk begins in front of the colonial-era building Meera Kripa, mostly intact, except for the two pillars at the entrance that have been newly painted in a muddy gold. The buildings that surround us are a haphazard juxtaposition of neoclassical and art deco styles, wooden facades and hanging balconies, queen Victoria busts and Ganesha idols.
  • Visit Khotachiwadi Heritage Walk. The main attraction itself is a heritage precinct with beautifully preserved old Portuguese-style houses. Walking through its narrow lanes gives you a glimpse of Mumbai’s colonial past. The village features cobbled streets, pastel-colored bungalows, and narrow stairways made from teak imported from Burma. The vibrant landscape is surrounded by palm trees and waves, with a chapel at the beginning of the village, which is crucial to the community.
  • Visit 47-A, situated in the charming Khotachiwadi neighbourhood, ably filled this gap. The collective vision of the minds behind Baro Market and Chatterjee & Lal has nurtured a sharp focus, ensuring that attendees walk away with new learnings about subjects like Art Deco and Odisha’s textiles. Those who have never visited Khotachiwadi can turn their gallery visit into a long evening stroll through the neighbourhood, with pit-stops at fashion designer James Ferreira’s home and Ideal Wafers.

Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia.

It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth. Even the all-powerful Pointing has no control about the blind texts it is an almost unorthographic life One day however.
